City hall office renovation

This was a small intervention, part of a larger project, to renovate the city hall building in La Roca del Vallès. In this first phase, we were asked to improve the citizen attention bureau with a low impact work: just painting and new furniture. The key of the intervention was the design of a multi-purpose desk. We decided to place this desk in the center of the room, but next to the long wall. This allows circulation around it and sets three faces of the counter to three different uses: reception, administrative formalities and announcements space. Two colors, white and sand, rule the design, getting a subtle and neutral pattern for the future innervation.
