This time, we were asked to design a medical office in Delfos Clinic in Barcelona. The client, a doctor’s couple, needed to transform the space into two offices: urology and otolaryngology. The initial layout, materials and light, gave to the space a grim appearance. 

The project recovers the structural layout, creating a central waiting room that provides access to both offices. The central waiting area has an L-shaped counter in bright green that vertebrates the room. 

In the otolaryngology bureau, we demolish all partitions, creating a clean room. In the wall behind the doctor’s desk, we place an MDF art wall, that simulates the shape of sound waves.

The urology room, needed a folding screen to give privacy to the patients and we design a folding wood slats, also in MDF, to accomplish that purpose.
