C. Pau Clarís 181, Barcelona
This was our very fist project. We got a fun job, to design a hair salon. The commercial premise, used to be a bank office and it was a diaphanous space with a double plasterboard.
The project organizes the space in three main areas, the styling boudoirs, the color seats and shampoo chairs. Following the client instructions, theses three areas are located from public to private, allowing pedestrians to see the styling action and protecting the shampoo time from the views.
The styling is organized by a continuous pine counter and single mirrors divided by a built-in shelves. Above of each chair, we placed a pendant lamp, to light the illuminate the working area. All the project plays with voids in the walls, since we found these double layered walls. We designed a void or window to define each use: showcase, styling boudoirs, color seats and waiting area.
The materials are naturals and pure and dominated by the pine wood. Finally, we add some plants in the design in order to enhance the freshly feeling.
